The accelerating pace of climate change means we must change the way our cities work. While this presents some obvious challenges, it also presents opportunities; if done right, we can tackle environmental challenges while generating good, green jobs and creating smarter and more resilient cities.
In 2017 and 2018, Succession has been working with Ecology Ottawa to conduct a research project on innovative financing techniques to address greenhouse gas emissions from buildings. This project also involves engaging key partners in the buildings and efficiency sector, and leveraging these points of contact to promote research findings at scale.
This project is currently underway, and is made possible due to funding by the McLean Foundation.
