Succession is a registered charity dedicated to supporting the environment. Our work seeks to promote the protection and preservation of the environment by developing and delivering educational programs, workshops and lectures on climate change, sustainable rural and urban lifestyles, and other related environmental topics. We focus on healthy modes of transportation, supporting the transition to a clean economy and developing and delivering information on climate change. Our charitable number is 854745940RR0001. Succession was previously named Tooker Gomberg Greenspiration Fund.
Greenspiration was the brainchild of Tooker Gomberg and Angela Bischoff. Together they travelled the globe with their bicycles, documenting inspiring environmental initiatives and organizing for change – that is until Tooker’s tragic passing Mar. 3, 2004.
Tooker Gomberg (August 12, 1955 – March 3 or March 4, 2004) was a Canadian politician and environmental activist. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Gomberg founded one of Canada’s first curbside recycling programs in Montreal, worked for Alberta’s energy ministry doing energy education, founded the EcoCity Society, was elected to Edmonton City Council, worked as climate campaigner for Greenpeace, and wrote about greenspirational environmental initiatives.
Following his passing, Angela set up the Tooker Gomberg Greenspiration Fund to support grassroots environmental initiatives.
